Precise root canal treatment in Bogenhausen

As the main focus of our dental practice, we see endodontics as an essential foundation for long-term tooth preservation. Supported by innovative technology And advanced procedures are the best way to restore the full function and aesthetics of the affected tooth to our patients. Precise anamnesis and the support provided by 3D diagnostics and the Zeiss dental microscope contribute just as much to an excellent result as precision. With numerous microscope-supported root canal treatments, Dr. Stiller has extensive expertise that significantly increases the success of treatment. Honest and transparent communication is a matter of course for us: Should it already be apparent during diagnosis or during the root canal treatment that the tooth is not salvageable, we will discuss with you other treatment options. In conjunction with high-quality Dental prosthesis from our Munich dental laboratory, approximately one Dental implant or a conventional bridge or prosthesis is a functional and aesthetic alternative to replace the inflamed tooth root and thus maintain your oral health in the long term.

Endodontics with the highest precision

„You can only treat what you can see“ – this quote from Professor Kim, Department of Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania, applies in endodontics as in hardly any other dental discipline. Uncovered canals are a major cause of the failure of root canal treatments – this is minimized through the use of the powerful Zeiss OP microscope. Under 35x magnification, even the finest branches of the root canals become visible – and thus also treatable. The integrated HD camera enables seamless documentation – and if desired, insightful visual insights for the patient. These modern procedures support us throughout the entire course of the root canal treatment: from the endometrial length measurement through the hydrodynamic ultrasound preparation to the three-dimensional filling of the root canals – each step contributes decisively to long-term tooth preservation. Protection against bacteria is essential: here, both the cofferdam as a mechanical barrier and the most modern laser technology are used, through which the root canal is thoroughly freed from bacteria and simultaneously sealed against re-infestation.

Costs of root canal treatment at your dentist in Bogenhausen

The root canal treatment in our dental practice is performed according to the latest quality standards and using state-of-the-art technology. Upon individual assessment, our patients are provided with a detailed list of costs in accordance with the German Dental Act (GOZ). Unfortunately, statutory health insurance companies do not yet cover the costs of treatments using the dental microscope in full. Supplementary insurance policies, which participants can individually choose to take out, cover a large part of the costs. Private health insurance companies also cover a large part of the costs.

This effort is worth it for our patients: immediately through quick pain relief – but above all through the long-term preservation of the tooth.
