The Suns­hine Project – A heart project for children in New Delhi

Dr. Fabian Stiller has been working toge­ther with the team at ZAHNMEDIZIN BOGENHAUSEN and his pati­ents for many years, and now since 2024, he has been working to improve the living condi­tions of disad­van­taged children in New Delhi, India. The project aims to enable the poorest children in New Delhi to have a better future through educa­tion. Through regular visits to the site, Dr. Stiller was able to gain a personal under­stan­ding of the situa­tion and actively contri­bute to impro­ving the children’s living condi­tions. Addi­tio­nally, he perso­nally spon­sors Suns­hine Project to support it in the long term.

In the Indian capital, poverty and wealth are often only a few streets apart. Many children are forced to beg on the street and have no access to educa­tion or medical care. They often only get insuf­fi­cient food and have to make do on their own.

The Suns­hine Project gives these children the oppor­tu­nity to escape the vicious cycle of poverty. It offers them not only a formal educa­tion but also the pros­pect of a self-deter­mined life with a secure income.
