Veneers

Thinnest blending cups for even teeth

Veneers are a gentle and extremely efficient method for improving the appearance of your teeth and creating a natural, even smile. The thin ceramic veneers are applied to the front of the teeth to optimize shape, color, and alignment. Each treatment begins with a detailed diagnosis and a personal consultation at Zahnmedizin Bogenhausen. Using intraoral scans, photographs, and X‑rays, we analyze your dental situation and discuss your wishes and expectations. In close collaboration with our dental laboratory in Munich and using digital planning programs, we create a model of your new smile. This allows us to visualize the final result in advance, show you the various treatment options, and provide you with a comprehensive overview of the possible outcome before the actual treatment begins.

Our therapy follows the principles of minimally invasive dentistry: Our goal is to preserve as much healthy tooth substance as possible and to perform only necessary corrections. Factors such as facial expression, the position of the midline, the smile line, as well as the shape and color of the teeth are taken into account during planning, just as bite alignment and gum health. The result should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also ensure a harmonious functionality of the entire oral cavity.

Digital Smile Design: See your new smile in advance

Dr. Fabian Stiller is certified in Digital Smile Design (DSD) by Christian Coachman. With this planning concept, we digitally design your new smile, tailored to your facial shape, lip line, and facial expressions. Upon request, we transfer the design as a mock-up directly into your mouth. This way, you can see and feel the result before even a single tooth is treated.

Process of the Veneer Treatment

  1. Consulting and analysis: personal consultation, photos, intraoral scan and X‑ray diagnostics.
  2. Digital planning: Design your new smile with Digital Smile Design and a sample model.
  3. Preparation: Minimally invasive preparation of the teeth, in appropriate cases even without grinding (non-prep veneers).
  4. Manufacturing and installation: The veneers are individually made from ceramic in the dental laboratory in Munich and then permanently attached.

How much do veneers cost?

The costs depend on the number of teeth, the material used, and the planning effort involved. After the initial consultation, we will provide you with a transparent written cost plan according to the German Dental Act (GOZ). Since veneers are usually aesthetic in nature, statutory health insurance companies generally do not cover the costs. Dental supplementary insurance and private health insurance companies contribute according to the respective tariff plan. We are happy to advise you personally on this matter.

Frequently asked questions about veneers

How long do veneers last?
Ceramic veneers are very stable and color-resistant. With proper care and regular prophylaxis, they last for many years, often significantly longer than ten years.

Do the teeth have to be sanded down for this?
Most often, only a minimal amount of wear of a few tenths of millimeters is necessary. In suitable cases, veneers can even be made without grinding at all.

Is the treatment painful?
Treatment is performed under local anesthesia if necessary and is considered very comfortable by most patients.
