More quality of life through restful sleep

Snoring can be not only stressful for the partner or partners, but also pose a serious health risk for the snorer themselves. Often, narrowed airways, an unfavorable sleeping position, or even being overweight are the causes of snoring sounds. In some cases, episodes of apnea, the so-called sleep apnea, can occur, which interrupt the oxygen supply and increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases in the long term. In addition to disrupted nighttime rest, this often leads to daytime fatigue and impaired performance.

A proven method for treating snoring and sleep apnea is the mandibular advancement device. This device, also known as a snore device, is adapted individually in our dental practice in Bogenhausen based on impressions of the upper and lower jaws. Before that, a Comprehensive diagnostics and examination of your teeth and jaw joint. To this end, we work closely with specialized ENT doctors.

The snore bar consists of two plastic parts that gently push the lower jaw forward during sleep. Through special connecting elements, the bar can be adjusted precisely to ensure improved airflow. This keeps the airways open, reduces snoring noises – and a restful night’s sleep can be restored.
