Precise root canal treatment in Bogenhausen

As a central focus of our practice, endodontics forms an essential foundation for preserving natural teeth over the long term. Supported by innovative technology and advanced techniques, root canal treatment is the best way to restore the full function and appearance of an affected tooth. A thorough medical history, 3D diagnostics and the ZEISS dental microscope all contribute – together with meticulous precision – to the excellent result we aim for with every root canal treatment. Having performed a great many microscope-assisted root canal treatments, Dr. Stiller has extensive expertise that significantly improves the likelihood of success. Honest and transparent communication goes without saying: should it become apparent during diagnosis or treatment that a tooth cannot be saved, we will discuss the alternatives with you. In combination with high-quality Crowns, Bridges & Dentures from our Munich dental laboratory, a dental implant – or a conventional bridge or denture – provides a functional and aesthetic alternative for replacing the inflamed tooth root and safeguarding your oral health for years to come.

Endodontics of the highest precision

„You can only treat what you can see“ – this quote from Professor Kim, Department of Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania, applies in endodontics as in hardly any other dental discipline. Uncovered canals are a major cause of failure of root canal treatments – this is minimized by the use of the powerful Zeiss OP microscope. Under 35x magnification, even the finest branches of the root canals become visible – and thus also treatable. The integrated HD camera enables seamless documentation – and, if desired, insightful visual insights for the patient. These modern procedures support us throughout the entire course of the root canal treatment: from the endometrial length measurement through the hydrodynamic ultrasound preparation to the three-dimensional filling of the root canals – each step contributes decisively to long-term tooth preservation. Protection against bacteria is essential: here, both the cofferdam and a mechanical barrier are used, as well as a dental laser, which thoroughly cleans the root canal of bacteria and simultaneously seals it against re-infestation.

Cost of root canal treatment at your dentist in Bogenhausen

The root canal treatment in our dental practice is performed using the ZEISS operating microscope and in accordance with current scientific standards. Upon individual assessment, our patients are provided with a detailed list of costs in accordance with the German Dental Act (GOZ). Unfortunately, statutory health insurance companies have not yet fully covered the costs for treatments using the dental microscope. Supplementary insurance policies, which participants can individually purchase, cover a large part of the costs. Private health insurance companies also cover a large part of the costs.

The investment is worthwhile: you benefit immediately from rapid pain relief – and, above all, from keeping your own tooth for the long term.
